The battle Branch project is located in Cherokee County, OK.
The project was completed in August, 2003.
A braided “D” channel was converted to a “C” channel.
Immediately after construction
One braid was left as backwater channel for rearing.
A wetland pond was constructed.
The stability of an existing ford was provided by means of a cross-vane.
